To film in an autonomous port, or in one of the state administered ports, contact the administrators of the site (see below a list of the main Italian harbours).
For other small ports, contact the network of Regional film commissions.
For filming in ports a written authorization request must be submitted on stamped paper to the State Property Department of the Port Harbor Master’s office concerned, and to the Technical Department of the same Harbor Master’s Office.
Request to shoot along seacoasts and coastal areas must be forwarded to the same Department of Port Harbor Master’s Offices.
The use of motor patrol boats of the Harbor Master’s Office is to be coordinated with these Departments, and normally such use is authorized if the boats are not used for service purposes.
